I was invited and attended the Material Component Technology Conference 2011 (MCTGC2011) held on December 13rd 2011 in Seoul, Korea. Korea core Industrial Technology Investment Association (KITIA) is the organizer of the event.
About 200 Korean companies and about 30 M&A advisory firms from globe (including Clifford Mary Partners) attended it and One to One meetings were arranged through out the conference.
I had 9 meetings with distinguish Korean material and component companies to discuss about their interested technology areas and potential business alliances with Japanese partners. (Thank you for KITIA and companies I met!)

韓国のKITIAのご招待で、ソウルで開催されたMCTGC2011に参加してきました。素材メーカーおよび部品産業の中堅韓国企業９社（ほとんどは上場企業）と個別ミーティングを行いました。韓国系企業の日本の技術に対する評価は本当に高いと感じると共に、日本企業が韓国企業のことを脅威と思うだけでなく、日本企業側からもオープンな態度で、どのように日本企業とのコラボレーションを達成したいのかということを聞く耳を持つべきだと強く感じて帰ってきました。
日本の新素材や新技術をもつ中小製造業の皆様に、是非とも韓国企業との協業で世界市場を共に目指すという方程式に関心を持って頂き、是非ともご協力頂ければと考えています。
